The Line Literary Review emerges with a new generation of veteran writers and artists, dedicated to those who are compelled to create reflective, representative, and cathartic content—even as wars continue to rage. Our primary focus is to publish diverse and inclusive content that bridges the gap between veterans and new audiences.

We are looking for up to 1,000 words of new, unpublished nonfiction that embodies our mission statement. We do not consider previously published work. If your submission has more than 1,000 words, please refer to our nonfiction submission guidelines.

We aim to respond within 3 months. Simultaneous submissions are reviewed, but if your work has been accepted elsewhere, please immediately withdraw your work.

If you have any questions about your submission, please contact submissions@thelineliterary.org with the your last name and the title of your project as the subject line.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
