Our primary focus is to publish diverse and inclusive content that bridges the gap between veterans and new audiences.

We are looking for 1,000-5,000 words of new, unpublished fiction that embodies our mission statement. We do not consider previously published work. If your submission has less than 1,000 words, please refer to our flash fiction submission guidelines.

We aim to respond within 3 months. Simultaneous submissions are reviewed, but if your work has been accepted elsewhere, please immediately withdraw your work.

Art

Our primary focus is to publish diverse and inclusive content that bridges the gap between veterans and new audiences.

We are looking for 3-7 art pieces, including painting, photography, illustrations, sketches, drawings, comic strips, architectural sketches, mixed media, and images of three-dimensional work. Accepted image files are .png and .jpg with at least 72dpi, 1000px in the longest direction. We require at least one unpublished art piece in your submission; please indicate which piece it is in your cover letter. 

We aim to respond within 3 months. Simultaneous submissions are reviewed, but if your work has been accepted elsewhere, please immediately withdraw your work.
